Meghana Bollimpalli is a high school student who currently attends Little Rock Central High School in Little Rock, AR. Her interests are diverse, ranging from scientific research to business to community service. She enjoys sharing her ideas and mentoring other students through various outreach programs.
Currently, she is a student researcher at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UALR). Meghana has won numerous national and international awards, including winning the 2018 Intel Foundation Young Scientist Award and being named a finalist for the 2018 National Junior Science and Humanities Symposium, 2018 Genius Olympiad, and many other competitions. She was also named to the 2019 Forbes 30 Under 30 list in Energy for her groundbreaking research.
After receiving the 2018 Intel Foundation Young Scientist Award and being named an Amy Poehler Smart Girl, she received an incredible platform to speak around the world and become an advocate for STEM education. She has presented and discussed her research at various locations around the world including universities, national and international science conferences, and other speaking venues.
